Less than ten years ago, if you wanted to meet a prospect, it was all about live networking – showing up, talking, engaging, exchanging business cards, and trying to connect and get appointments with a few people. Now there’s LinkedIn, and other social media outreaches that allow you to find more targeted people faster, and connect with them virtually.
REALITY: You cannot do one OR the other. In today’s world, both online networking AND face-to-face networking must be mastered. My early networking in Charlotte, North Carolina, paved my way for local business success. My online networking has expanded my reputation and brand in a way I could never have imagined.
